Ethical and privacy standards

  1. Editorial Independence. Decision-making regarding editorial orientation and flow will be autonomous and will not allow the influence of external pressures. In case of conflict, the final decision will rest with the editor responsible for the journal.
  2. Election of the editorial team. The selection of the Council and Editorial Committee of the publication must be guided by the capacity, knowledge, experience and needs of the editorial process, seeking an interdisciplinary, interinstitutional, and international integration guided by and editor from the University of Sonora.
  3. 3.  Information to users. The publication´s website (https://nau.unison.mx/normas) must offer all interested parties the necessary information for participation, consultation and use of the copies and articles that are published, as well as the mechanisms and operating rules.
  4. Arbitration system. The editors are obliged to make the refereeing system of the works and the evaluation points know to the interested authors and evaluators, informing the authors of the final opinion.
  5. Election of reviewers. The editors must select the peer evaluators, considering their expertise, diligence, and lines of knowledge, inviting them directly and continuously updating their curricular information. It is your obligation to recognize your participation as specialized evaluators on the website and issue your personal certificate.
  6. Confidentiality and anonymity. The participation of peer evaluators, their opinion reports, author data and manuscripts received will be kept as private information, without being communicated by any means outside the process and editorial team.
  7. Monitoring and control. It is the responsibility of the editorial committee to establish procedures, internal control, compliance with editorial times and presentations of reports of the editorial process.
  8. Conflict of interest.   1. Continuous improvement. It is the responsibility of the editorial team to carry out self-assessments and correction procedures and feedback on procedures and the website in favor of the quality, visibility, and internationalization of the publication.

Research Advances in Organizations and Management is committed to ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of personal information captured in its system, using it only for academic and research purposes. Publishing in the articles the data of the registered author (s) that are strictly necessary for the recognition of authorship.
  3. Institutionality. The editorial guidelines of the University of Sonora are observed throughout the editorial and publication process.
