Relationship between transformational leadership and the quality of work life of the employees of the company Maindsteel in the state of Aguascalientes.

This research analyzes the relationship between Transformational Leadership and the Quality of Work Life of the employees of the company Maindsteel located in the state of Aguascalientes and belonging to the manufacturing sector. The study approach was quantitative, with a non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational design and the sample consisted of 32 employees. Data collection was performed using the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (Form 5X-Short) instrument by Bass and Avolio (2005) cited in Salcedo (2018) and the Quality of Life at Work Scale by Patlán Pérez (2016). The reliability analysis of the instrument was performed using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient and the correlation analysis by means of the Spearman test. The results showed that all dimensions of Transformational Leadership have significant correlations with Quality of Work Life; obtaining a greater relationship with the feedback dimension. It is concluded that when Maindsteel leaders inspire, motivate, encourage the development of creativity for problem solving and provide individualized consideration to the needs of team members there is a high relationship with the feedback received by the direct leader, which also leads to a positive perception of Quality of Work Life by the employees of the Maindsteel company.
