The economic evaluation was carried out using the income method. The results show that the application of GnRH significantly impacted reproductive efficiency, obtaining percentages of gestation at first service (GPS) of 0.70 ± 0.07 versus 0.58 ± 0.09 without GnRH, and total gestation (GT) of 0.82 versus 0.68, respectively. Although the cost per protocol with GnRH was slightly higher ($44.01 USD) compared to the protocol without GnRH ($42.28 USD), cost effectiveness analysis revealed a superior economic benefit with GnRH. Specifically, the cost per pregnant cow at first service with GnRH was 62.95 USD, significantly lower than the 72.81 USD without GnRH. Similarly, the cost per total gestation with GnRH was reduced to USD 50.56 versus USD 61.99 without GnRH. In conclusion, treatment with GnRH proved to be more efficient and economically advantageous, achieving higher gestation percentages at a lower cost per pregnant animal.
