General Publication Rules

Nau Yuumak. Advances in Research in Organizations and Management is a digital publication of an academic and scientific nature, published biannually, with strict arbitration, distributed by the computer network of the University of Sonora and edited through the Department of Accounting and the Interdisciplinary Administration Network and Management in Organizations (RAGO) of Mexico.  With registration of reservation of rights to exclusive use 04-2022-0324133350300-102, and ISSN:2954-4653.

Of the presentation of collaborators:

  1. The works presented may be: research reports, essays, technical studies, or research protocols in the lines of social, accounting, economic and administrative sciences, in any of their aspects.
  2. Research reports are reports that describe and argue the results of projects on a specific object of study, complying with rigor and scientific method within the lines of knowledge of the publication.
  3. The essays are critical argumentative writings, the result of the analysis and exhaustive and evaluative review of the literature on a topic or phenomenon of study, within the lines of knowledge of the magazine.
  4. Technical studies or appendices are descriptive documents of the theoretical, normative, technological, or practical application of the professional exercise or praxis of topics related to the lines of knowledge of the publication.
  5. Research protocols are documents that establish the basic ideas to be developed, justification, object of study, background, methodology and parameters for carrying out a specific scientific investigation.
  6. The works may be presented in Spanish and English.
  7. The works may be individual or collective, with no more than three authors, indicated in order of participation.
  8. All works submitted for publication must be unpublished and original.
  9. All works will be subject to double-blind evaluation by peer evaluators.
  10. All submitted works must be delivered exclusively for publication, during the arbitration and publication process.
  11. The submission of works will be subject to the corresponding call, which will be disseminated in a timely manner on this site.
  12. The sending and publication of the submitted manuscripts will not generate any cost for authors.

About the format and requirements of collaborations:

  1. The general format will be Word with Times New Roman font at 12 point, line spacing of 1.5, general margins of 2.5 cm and centered bottom pagination. Spacing must be maintained between paragraphs, respect the hierarchy of titles, and avoid incorrect use of capital letters and underlining.
  2. The works must present a title, both in Spanish and English, and the complete development of the text, with summary and abstract included. With centered bottom page number.
  3. The minimum length of the works Will be 4000 words, with a maximum of up to 6000 words; the text must include summary, keywords, abstract, keywords, introduction, frame of reference, methodology, results, conclusions, and references, following the APA seventh edition format.
  4. The title should not exceed 10 words.
  5. The summary or abstract will not have a maximum length of 200 words.
  6. Up to three keywords will be accepted; care must be taken to ensure that these are words and not phrases.
  7. The number and name of the JEL (Journal of Economic Literature) code that identifies the content must be indicated. Only a maximum of three codes will be accepted.
  8. The numbering of the sections will be done following the decimal format, without numbering the introduction; the subtitle of each section should be highlighted in bold.
  9. Authorship data will be presented only on the first page, in the order of participation, indicating full names, academic degrees, institution of affiliation, position in the institution, institutional email and ORCID (only for researchers).
  10. All tables, charts, figures, or graphs must include title and source, as well as be clearly referenced in the text.
  11. Figures or images with a quality greater than or equal to 400 dpi may be included.
  12. All references must appear cited in the text and comply with the data and indications of the APA seventh edition standards. If URL is indicated, it must be confirmed that the link works correctly.
  13. Footnotes may be used as clarifications or extensions to the free format work. Footnotes should not be used for citations.

From the submission of the works:

  1. The works must be sent in two files with the following specifications:
    • File 1. Complete work, with the cover page with author information as indicated in point 9 of the format and requirement for collaborations.
    • Files 2. Declaration of authorship and unpublished work not published in any event or printed or digital publication, with date, title of the work and handwritten signature of all authors, addressed to the Editorial Committee.
  2. The two files must indicate the file number and the first surname(s) of the authors.
  3. The files must be uploaded to the magazine platform and sent to emails revistanau@unison.mx; delarosa@unison.mx during the reception period, in accordance with the call.
